Decision details

To recommend to the Cabinet a proposal for the future round of Communities First in  Flintshire, following the Welsh Government’s rejection of the Council’s original two cluster bid, which was approved at the Executive meeting on 27 March 2012.

(a)               That the Cabinet agree the proposals as set out in 3.07 as the Council’s revised bid;

(b)               That the Cabinet approve in principle an indicative staff structure for the two clusters as shown in Appendix E of the report;

(c)               That the Cabinet grant delegated authority to the Director of Environment following consultation with the Cabinet Member for Regeneration, Enterprise and Leisure to amend the bid, to reflect any detailed comments from the Welsh Government; and

(d)               That the decision is urgent, and should not be subject to call-in, because delay would cause the Council to miss the deadline to submit its application for funding.
