Purpose:
To provide Members with an outline of the
services available with respect to Violence Against Women Domestic
Abuse and Sexual Violence (VAWDASV) on a local and regional level,
and also provide an insight into current demands across the region.
At the request of Members, to provide an overview of trends,
services and support available with respect to VAWDASV.
Decision:
RESOLVED:
(a) That the report be noted; and
(b) That the Committee recommends that a report on VAWDASV be submitted to a future meeting of the County Council to raise awareness of VAWDASV and the ongoing support work provided
