Issue - meetings

That the report be accepted.

The Internal Audit Manager presented a report to inform the Committee of the actions resulting from points raised at previous Audit Committee meetings.  The majority of actions had been carried out, with an update on the remainder to be reported to a future meeting.

The Chief Executive said that this was a useful exercise to track actions and that he had offered support to the Internal Audit Manager for exceptional unresolved actions of a serious nature to be raised with the Corporate Management Team.

Following a comment made by the Chair on the extended terms of reference of the Audit Committee, the Democracy & Governance Manager explained that the extent of this had been communicated to Heads of Service.
