(b)       That the minutes of 13 January 2025 be approved, subject to the amendments on minute numbers 54 and 62.

Urgent Matters as agreed by the Chair

Dispensations

To receive any requests for dispensations.

 

Members of the press/public will be able to remain at the meeting whilst an application for dispensation is presented to the Committee and will be able to return to hear the Committee’s decision.  However, under Paragraph 18C Schedule 12A Local Government Act 1972 the Committee will exclude the press and public from the meeting whilst it deliberates on any application for a dispensation.

Local Resolution Process

To consider legal advice shared by the Public Services Ombudsman for Wales (PSOW) in relation to local resolution processes ahead of a report from the Monitoring Officers’ Group on revisions to the process.

Decision:

Having considered the legal advice received by the Public Services Ombudsman for Wales (PSOW), the Committee takes into account the information when reviewing the Council’s Local Resolution Procedure.
