A Place to call home
In November 2014, the Older People’s
Commissioner initiated a Care Home Review entitled “A place
to Call home”. This review evaluated 15 different elements of
the quality of care homes for Local Authority, Health Boards and
for Welsh Government. Flintshire’s evaluation published in
January 2018, finds that our services were “sufficient”

Title (Welsh): Lle i’w alw’n gartref
Description (Welsh): Fis Tachwedd 2014 cynhaliodd Comisiynydd Pobl Hŷn adolygiad o’r enw “Lle i’w alw’n Gartref”. Roedd yr adolygiad yn gwerthuso 15 o elfennau gwahanol yn ymwneud â chartrefi gofal ar gyfer Awdurdodau Lleol, Byrddau Iechyd a Llywodraeth Cymru. Mae gwerthusiad Sir y Fflint, a gyhoeddwyd fis Ionawr 2018, yn canfod bod ein gwasanaethau yn “ddigonol”, sef y categori uchaf sydd ar gael.
