Accessible Dropped Kerb Crossings for Pedestrians
This report is being presented in response to
a request from the Environment & Economy Scrutiny Committee in
November 2021. The report sets out how we deal with the provision
of pedestrian dropped kerbs within the adopted highway in relation
to uncontrolled crossing points, given that there is no allocated
funding for this provision. The report outlines the process for
receiving requests, identifying sites, recognising the appropriate
solution, applying available resources, and identifies possible
funding mechanisms for accessible dropped kerbs for
pedestrians.

Title (Welsh): Croesfannau Cwrb Isel hygyrch i Gerddwyr
Description (Welsh): Mae’r adroddiad hwn yn cael ei gyflwyno mewn ymateb i gais gan Bwyllgor Craffu’r Amgylchedd a’r Economi ym mis Tachwedd 2021. Mae’r adroddiad yn nodi sut rydym yn delio gyda darpariaeth cwrb isel i gerddwyr o fewn y briffordd dan sylw mewn perthynas â mannau croesi heb eu rheoli, oherwydd nad oes yna gyllid wedi’i ddyrannu ar gyfer y ddarpariaeth hon. Mae’r adroddiad yn amlinellu’r broses ar gyfer derbyn ceisiadau, nodi safleoedd, cydnabod yr ateb priodol, defnyddio’r adnoddau sydd ar gael ac mae’n nodi dulliau cyllid posibl ar gyfer cyrbiau isel hygyrch i gerddwyr.
